The chapter participated in a park clean-up at Elmwood Park in Roanoke, Virginia on Saturday, May 22, 2010. Since 2007, the chapter has been an active participant in the local adopt-a-park program. Brother Ricky Sykes chaired this initiative.

The Roanoke (VA) Alumni Chapter hosted its annual Crimson and Cream Scholarship Dance on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the St. Elias Social Hall in Roanoke, Virginia. Approximately 250 guests enjoyed the evening's entertainment. The chapter step team entertained the guests with their smooth and precise steps. Door prizes were also given away.
